Good days

(Dad in Ireland)

I feel good today. I got up early and got the grocery shopping done and on the walk over I took a different route than usual and discovered a secret entrance to the park. It's 80 acres of mostly woods and trails, with a few acres of soccer fields and to get to it normally takes a half hour walk, which is good excersise and blah blah, but it's still far. Little did I know one of the trails comes right up near my house. A ten minute walk rather than 30! Hurray. So hopefully the sun comes out soon so I can go exploring. Otherwise it will have to wait until tomorrow. I don't know what on earth happened to my umbrella.

So then while at the store I bought a scratch ticket, which I never do. The only time I play them is when I get them in my stocking at Christmas. But you always hear these stories about people who never play the lottery and they buy one ticket in 50 years and win. So I bought a Cash For life and won $4, which is how much they cost. So I broke even, but maybe I'll buy another ticket with that $4.

Anyway, after my shopping I came home to find that one of my birds was featured on the front page of Etsy, and someone had bought my button weath ornament.

So it's been a great day and it's only 12:45. Now I just need to get a call that I landed a job and things will be perfect ;)
